Mike Price is the supervisor of fish for zoological operations at SeaWorld San Diego. Mike has been at the park for over 18 years working in a wide variety of fields from white shark research to polar bears. Most recently, Mike is tasked with supervising the fish team. Gaining knowledge of zooplankton and marine fish life histories through his work at SeaWorld, Mike became very interested in the goals of Rising Tide Conservation Initiative.
Over the next two weeks Mike will be immersed in the daily operations of the experimental marine fish hatchery from collecting and growing zooplankton to collecting and hatching diminutive reef fish eggs.
Mike will then share what he has learned and experienced with team members, the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund board, the visitors to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks and online followers.
